We have sailed in the sea of cortez for two seasons(years) (home for the hurricane seasons). The furthest north was Bahia Los Angeles and the furthest south was Bahia de Manzanillo.  We are currently in Mazatlan waiting for installation of a new engine to run our water maker.  It also has a 150 ampere alternator.  We have to have our water maker operational by 4/30 or the south pacific trip is a no go for this year.  We are optimistically making preparations for our trip to Hiva Oa in French Polynesia.
